A closer look at my background, the way I approach structural problems, and the credentials behind the work.
I'm a licensed Professional Engineer specializing in structural and civil engineering, with a practice spanning cable-stayed bridges, high-rise towers, municipal infrastructure, and difficult-site residential foundations.
Before running my own practice, I spent six years at a mid-size infrastructure firm leading seismic retrofit and transit bridge work — experience that still shapes how I think about redundancy, inspectability, and long-term maintenance cost on every project I take on today.
I believe the best structural engineering is invisible: it shows up as a building that simply performs, a bridge that never needs an unplanned closure, and a client who never has to think about the structure again after handover.
Start a ConversationLeading structural and civil engineering for bridges, high-rise buildings, and public infrastructure clients, from feasibility through construction administration.
Led seismic retrofit design for six transit bridges and served as project structural lead on two major highway interchange upgrades.
Delivered structural design for mid-rise residential and commercial buildings, developing a foundation in post-tensioned concrete and wind-governed lateral systems.
Rotated through structural, geotechnical, and transportation teams while completing PE licensure requirements.
Thesis on performance-based seismic design of cable-stayed bridge pylons under near-fault ground motion.
Whether it's early feasibility or a peer review deadline — I'd like to hear about it.
